This bass proves that there is no such thing as an ugly Jazz. This was my personal bass; I just gigged with it to assure its perfection. I had a fretless neck on it initially (as we should all have a fretless in the arsenal), but in environments where I would play fretless, pink just isn't going to work. So I put a fretted neck on it. Ah, much better. But, still, it's not one of my main basses, and it's just sitting around here and needs a good home - yours! Almost never do you see one of my basses for sale used, as most everyone hangs onto their CertainBass, including me. I actually hate to part with many of the basses I make. But here's an opportunity to get one of my basses economically. You know it's going to play fantastically.

The rosewood fingerboard has some beautiful figuring.

The pickups are some kind of Fender, I forgot. They're really sweet. You can also upgrade to premium pickups - Bartolini, Fender Custom Shop, Fralin... - for an additional cost.

The tuning keys are also my standard models; they hold tune and turn smoothly, but you can upgrade those as well.

The bridge is a heavy mass gold-plated. Can be used for string-thru, I put screws in those extra holes. Seven screws in total keep that bridge snug and the bass singing.

Knobs are different color chicken head, but you can have any kind of knob you want (within reason).

We can also refinish it in any color you want for and additional $245.
The only "flaw" is on the G side body neck pocket, see photo. It has no finish there because I took it down some . Otherwise, there is not a scratch on it. New, this bass would sell for only $896, so I'm offering it used (but used only by me) for $565. This is a steal, the real deal. You might be another one to tell me "You're right, it is my new favorite bass."
