it anyway you want. Shown above in one of our custom colors,
Silver Fox with lime green pickguard, it comes in any
color you want, poly or nitro, including matching headstock if you so
desire. Many other options and choice for your new

Varitone system. Our Varitone is
a six position rotary switch that replaces a standard bass tone
control. 1st position is flat, wide open bass. 2, 3 and 4 are
classic tones of Jaco and Jamerson, 5 is
where the midrage dip and metallic sounds of Stanley
and Marcus are, and position 6 mimics an out of phase pickup tone
(and has the same effect on a P bass or other single pickup
bass). Unlike other Varitones, ours has
quiet switching, a must for recording. All this tone shaping and
totally passive, no battery. A
number of configurations are available: simple volume and Varitone to retain vintage
look, a 3-knob system of volume/Varitone/blend or
volume/Varitone/master high end roll-off or a 4-knob
system of volume/Varitone/blend/master high end
roll-off. Side jack and concentric pots
involve othe options available. I’ll discuss your playing styles and how you
use your present tone controls to determine what’s best for you.
